For the most recent issue of Wine Country This Month I had the pleasure of interviewing local wine legend, Ken Volk. Ken gave graciously of his time for our interview, and we ended up chatting for nearly an hour about his passion and pursuit of creating wines from the more obscure (aka "heirloom") varietals. Greatest Writing Compliment...Ever!

Earlier this evening my mom posted this link on facebook to find out who "I Write Like", so of course I decided to check it out! This website prompts you to paste a sample of your writing...anything from a journal entry to a poem or chapter from a book you've written. So I posted the first half of the first chapter of my young adult novel that I'm working on, and when I clicked the button, much to my pleasant surprise, here was my result:
